Mission
My mission is to learn the Word, help other understand the Truth of the Word, and make Disciples for Christ by engaging in one on one evidence based conversations that Defend the Christian Faith (1 Peter 3:15); as well as create the treeoflifebiblestudy.com channel to track my progress and share my method.
History
I was Baptized at age 11, fell into sin for 60 years, and was Justified back to the Lord in 2024. Yes, I am retired and blessed beyond measure through Jesus Christ.
I started my Bible Study journey in 2024 by completing the "Read the Bible in a Year" program, memorizing Bible Scriptures, attending Precept classes, starting the WVBS program, and re-reading the Bible.
The apologetics books and courses I've completed are:
- Geisler: 12 Point that Show Christianity is True
- Turek: I still don't have enough Faith to be an Atheist
- Koukl: Tactics and Street Smarts
While these books and courses were a great primer to get me started, how much of the information (evidence) do you think I've internalized to share with others? Almost zero!
Next Steps
Therefore, I am committing 4+ hours per day to Prayer and Bible Study to document my progress and hold myself accountable. Then, with the help of the Holy Spirit, take it to the street with one on one engagements.
The amount and time between posts will be based on my internalization of the material as it is my plan to only post what I can share one on one.
Cost
